Product description
Hypax 450 HE is an oxidate ester, designed for use as a film forming protective barrier layer in any water displacing, high performance, thin film corrosion protective. The material has a viscosity reducing effect in cavity waxes which provides capillary creep into seams. Hypax 450 HE is often blended with neutral sulphonates to enhance its corrosion preventive properties.

Application
Hypax 450 HE can be blended with neutral barium, sodium or calcium sulphonates, oil and/or solvent and for enhanced water displacement 1-2% of 2-butoxyethanol (CAS no. 111-76-2).
Packaging
Hypax 450 HE is available in 170Kg net weight steel drums or as required by the customer.
The recommended shelf life of this product is 2 years.
